Simple Tips for Longevity
I know glass can seem fragile, but I promise, fused glass art is tougher than you think! Many of my pieces are designed to stay outside, even through the seasons, and still look amazing.
Here’s how to keep your glass artwork looking vibrant and beautiful.
1. Cleaning: Hot Soapy Water & Glass Cleaner
Cleaning your glass art is easier than you think! For regular cleaning, glass cleaner is your friend—it's quick, easy, and gets the job done. But for bigger cleans, when it’s time to get into those stubborn spots, hot soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge work wonders.
(glass cleaner is a glass artist’s secret favorite too! Don’t tell anyone.)

2. What Not to Do: No Ovens or Microwaves for Functional Pieces
Now, a little note for those of you with functional pieces like bowls or trays—never put them in the oven or microwave. Glass doesn’t like extreme temperatures, and we don’t want any mishaps with your favorite pieces. Keep them safe from the heat!
.
Fused glass art isn’t just beautiful, it also adds dimension, color, and personality to your home. Whether it’s hanging on the wall or sitting on a shelf, it’s a perfect way to brighten up your space. With just a little care, your glass artwork will stay vibrant and lovely for years to come.
Enjoy your pieces with confidence—they're built to last!
